Description:

Paracetamol has an antipyretic (to lower fever) and analgesic (relieves sore throat, headache and muscle pain) action. It also decreases body temperature in patients with fever. Phenylephrine hydrochloride is an a-adrenergic agonist that decongests the nose in 30 minutes through a direct vasoconstriction mechanism. Unlike first-generation antihistamines, phenylephrine hydrochloride decongests the nose without causing drowsiness. Guaifenesin is a known expectorant that increases the volume and amount of water in secretions in the respiratory tract, which facilitates the release of these secretions, through ciliary action and when coughing. This action turns the cough into a more productive and less frequent cough.

How to use:

2 capsules every 4 to 6 hours as needed up to a maximum of 3 servings in 24 hours. Do not take more than 6 capsules (3g of paracetamol) in 24 hours. Capsules should be swallowed whole with water and not chewed. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, medical advice should be sought.
